"Theta means a lot to me – I’m a fourth-generation Theta, so it’s really special to have that connection to four other women in my family, all the way back to my great-grandmother. I am a pretty quiet person, but being a part of this chapter has helped me gain some confidence and self-assurance. Being surrounded by so many uplifting, unique, and positive women has helped me grow as a person and make me proud to be part of Theta."

About Alice (from her Secret Sister):
"Alice is such a great person she pushes me to do things outside of my comfort zone and is always making me laugh. Alice is able to light up a room just by walking in, everyone needs a friend like her. "
1. What is your favorite Theta memory?
My favorite Theta memory would have to be when I was in the Miss Fall Rush pageant last fall. I had never done a pageant before and it was completely out of my comfort zone, so I was really nervous, but it was so empowering to hear my sisters in the audience cheering loud for me. It was a such a fun experience to be able to represent Theta and to try something new.
2. What fictional character do you most identify with?
I think I would identify most with Hermione from Harry Potter. She is a determined, driven, and academic person who values loyalty, strength, and friendship. I grew up reading the Harry Potter series and always loved her because she isn’t the main character but she is a strong female presence who is essential to her close-knit friend group and a person who takes her education seriously.
3. Are you a dog or a cat person?
I love dogs and cats, but I would have to say that I am definitely a cat person!
4. If your classes got cancelled today, how would you spend your free time?
I would probably try to work on something artsy, because I’ve been really into painting and calligraphy lately. Art has always been a relaxing outlet for me, and I would love to do more of it if I had the time. I would also definitely listen to some jams, most likely Coldplay, and play some Gossip Girl in the background, because I have re-watched it three times and am still not over it.
